The Additional Collector of Khammam, D. Venugopal, emphasized the need for meticulous and foolproof arrangements for the upcoming Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Group 3 exams. Addressing officials from various departments at a review meeting held on Wednesday in the IDOC conference hall, Venugopal detailed plans for ensuring the exams proceed without any issues on November 17 and 18.
He reported that a total of 13,845 candidates will appear for the exams across 39 centers in the district. To facilitate smooth conduct, the district administration has appointed 39 Chief Superintendents, 39 Departmental Officers, and a team of 6 Flying Squads. Additional staff, including 139 personnel for candidate identification, 5 Route Officers, and 40 Observers, have been deployed. Observers from the state level will also be present to maintain transparency.
Venugopal directed the authorities to install CCTV cameras at each exam center, restrict unauthorized access, and conduct pre-screening by police for added security. Centers lacking boundary walls will receive enhanced police presence. Biometric attendance and proper security checks will ensure accurate records of candidate attendance.
Additional Collector Venugopal further advised officials to thoroughly check candidates before allowing entry, with separate screening for male and female candidates. Each center is mandated to have necessary facilities like CCTV cameras, seating, drinking water, toilets, medical teams, and designated invigilators.
He instructed the RTC Depot Manager to arrange buses for students coming from different locations before and after the exams. Electricity officials were directed to ensure uninterrupted power supply, and health officers were ordered to provide first-aid kits and ANMs at each center. Candidates can download their hall tickets from the TSPSC portal, while sanitation and maintenance are to be handled by municipal authorities.
All promotional materials, posters, and banners must be removed from the centers, and nearby photocopy centers will be closed during exams. Only Chief Superintendents will be allowed to carry cell phones, with no media representatives or unauthorized individuals permitted inside exam halls.
Candidates are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam and are strictly prohibited from bringing cell phones, calculators, or any electronic devices into the examination hall.
Following the meeting, training sessions were conducted for all officials and observers on protocols and safety measures to ensure a secure and malpractice-free examination process.
The event was attended by AR DSP Satyanarayana, Group 3 Exam Coordinator Harikrishna, district officials, Chief Superintendents, Departmental Officers, and Flying Squad teams, among others.
