Early Life and Education
Born on July 16, 1974, in Thoggudem, Pinapaka Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, Telangana State, Chirra Srinivas Goud grew up in a family rooted in service and leadership. His father, Chirra Somulu Goud, was a respected politician, while his mother, Chirra Malleshwari, supported the family’s aspirations. He now resides in Pilot Colony Road, Manuguru Mandal.
Srinivas completed his schooling (grades 1 to 10) at Sri Seetharama Public School and pursued his Intermediate at Pragnya Junior College, Khammam. In 1994, he developed an interest in technology, earning a Computer Diploma from Setwin Computers, Hyderabad, where he mastered applications like DOS, WordStar, Lotus, and dBase.
In 1996, he graduated from Ramachandra Arts & Science College (SRAS), Kothagudem, and launched an educational magazine, Gouthami Vignanana Vishya Bulletin, which was inaugurated by Manuguru DSP B. Jeevan Reddy. This magazine marked his early passion for education and publishing.
Career in Technology
Pioneering Contributions to the Tech Industry
Srinivas began his professional journey in the stock exchange market, working for Sivani Investments in Manuguru under Vecha Nageswara Rao and Bhadram. In 1997, he completed an Advanced Computer Diploma, enhancing his knowledge of the evolving tech landscape.
He worked as a faculty member at JNNYC Computer Education from 1997 to 2000, run by P. Sundar Rao, and later at Info Tech Computers, managed by Vecha Chandrashekar.
Web Development and Creative Computers
In 2000, Srinivas embraced the digital revolution, launching his first website, www.srinivasgoud.itgo.com, using the Freeservers platform. He further demonstrated his expertise by developing:
- www.mlapayam.com, for his constituency MLA, over a decade ago.
- www.manugurupressclub.com, 15 years ago, for the Manuguru Press Club.
From 2001 to 2018, Srinivas operated his own computer education institute, Creative Computer Education, training countless students in both hardware and software, earning the distinction of being Manuguru’s first hardware engineer.

Chirra’s passion for journalism began in 1996 when he worked as a reporter for Pratantra Weekly Edition, run by Devulapalli Amar. His career in journalism took a significant leap in 2011 when he joined I-News Channel. After two years, he moved to 10 TV, a CPM Party-launched public-share channel, where he worked from 2013 to 2018.

Prominent Role in TWJF
Srinivas joined the Telangana Working Journalist Federation (TWJF) in 2013, led by Dr. Mamidi Somaiah. Within a short time, he was unanimously elected District General Secretary for Bhadradri Kothagudem District. In September 2016,
he was elected National Council Member for TWJF, a role he was re-elected to on July 3, 2022, at Bhadrachalam. He has actively participated in numerous IFWJ national conferences, representing Telangana in cities like Jaipur, Chennai, Madurai, Dwaraka, and Ayodhya.
Supporting Fellow Journalists
Srinivas is committed to helping his peers by securing accreditations, health cards, and RTC bus passes. His unwavering dedication to the welfare of journalists has made him a pillar of support within his community.
Challenges and Resilience
Srinivas faced two major accidents during news coverage, leading to fractures in both legs. These injuries have limited his mobility, yet his determination to serve his community and profession remains steadfast. Despite these challenges, he continues to inspire others through his resilience and hard work.

Leo Club and Gems Study Circle
As Secretary of the Leo Club of Manuguru, under the Lions Club, Srinivas organized several community initiatives. In 2000, he founded Gems Study Circle, a tuition center aimed at providing quality education to children.
Political Advocacy
As Vice President of the Pinapaka constituency for Jayaprakash Narayana’s Loksatta Party, Srinivas worked tirelessly for social reform. His admiration for Nara Chandrababu Naidu inspired him to protest the leader’s arrest by wearing a black Shirt for 54 days.

Srinivas also actively participates in initiatives to uplift the Gowda community, promoting unity and progress.
